2021 Annual Meeting Postponed
Happy Friday! It hardly seems possible that it is the beginning of February 2021, but here we are!
We have a special announcement for our Members. The Credit Union would normally hold our Annual Meeting in March. However, due to the continued effects from the pandemic, we will be pushing back our Annual Meeting until either August or September 2021 in hopes of having an in-person meeting. We are expecting great things this year for the Credit Union and we are wishing a great year for all of our Members. Please check back on our Facebook page or website for additional information.

New Phone System

Our current phone system will be down temporarily on Thursday, January 14, 2021 as our new phone system is installed. During this transition, our email system will be available. Please email us and we will be happy to assist you until the phones are up and running!

We want to wish everyone a very healthy and safe holiday season. The Credit Union will have modified hours the last two weeks of the year. Here are the modified hours:
Wednesday, December 23, 2020 – The Credit Union will be open from 8:15 am to 5:00 pm.
Thursday, December 24, 2020 – The Credit Union will be open from 8:15 am to 12:00 pm.
Friday, December 25, 2020 – The Credit Union is closed!
Wednesday, December 30, 2020 – The Credit Union will be open from 8:15 am to 5 pm.
Thursday, December 31, 2020 – The Credit Union will be open from 8:15 am to 12:00 pm.
Friday, January 1, 2021 – The Credit Union is closed!
Text Banking is now available!
With Text Banking You Can…
- Send a text message command to receive text message replies regarding the balance of your eligible accounts.
- Enroll in e-Alerts and receive notices regarding account balances, deposits, withdrawals, or when a payment is due.
One-Way Text Alerts
You can set up one-way Text alerts via the e-Alert Subscriptions page, and create alerts similar to your standard e-Alerts:
- Account Balance
- Notification of an ACH Deposit or Withdrawal
- Notification that a Loan Payment is due
- E-Notice notification
How Much will this Cost?
The Credit Union is not currently charging any fees for this convenient service. Your mobile phone carrier may charge you standard text messaging fees. Please check with your mobile phone carrier if you aren’t sure what fees apply when you send and receive text messages.
How to Get Started?
You can enroll in Text Banking in the Mobile Banking App or Online Banking Portal. In the mobile banking app, click on Text Banking to access the enrollment screens. Within the Online Banking Portal, click on the “Go Mobile” button on the It’s Me 247 toolbar. Then select Text Banking Home to access the enrollment screens.
Veteran’s Day – Wednesday, November 11, 2020
The Credit Union wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of its members who are Veterans. Thank you for your service to our country.
On Wednesday, November 11, 2020, the Credit Union will be closed in observance of Veteran’s Day. You can still access your accounts even when we are closed – Online, Mobile, ATMs, Debit Card, Credit Card, Remote Deposit Capture etc. We will be re-open on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 8:15 am.
Happy Halloween
You can also pick up your Stimulus Loan Application today if you have not done so already. They are due back to the Credit Union by Friday, November 5, 2020.
Finally, our Relay for Life team is raffling off a cash basket of $200. What would you do with an extra $200 in your pocket at the holiday time? Tickets are 1 for $1 or 6 for $5.

Join Us for Our Annual Meeting!
We invite all members to learn about the financial health of 1st Street Credit Union, hear from our Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee. This year, no food will be served or gifts given out if you attend in-person.

Members have the option to attend the meeting in-person or virtual on their personal device. If you wish to join us in person, we will be adhering to all City of Sarasota and CDC guidelines including, but not limited to, social distancing and mask requirements.
